Shattering Moment

Today, as I was about to go out to make my new IC (Identification card), and just turning out from the T-junction from my home, "PAAAANG-TSHHH"... The windscreen started cracking, obviously hit by some high velocity projectile. D:

It cracked continuously until the whole windscreen is glistering, somewhat like a huge piece of diamond. LOL~

At first I do not know what hit us, my mum continuously said the "grass cutter" which I did not saw, maybe because I viewed from a different angle. My mum, as always, when get shocked, do not know how to drive. She stopped in the middle of the road for a few seconds until the car behind us started honking. (Apparently they do not know what had happened)

Later, my mum drove the car to a repair shop. The repairman told us to get the guy's boss's number. Which, when we did returned to the same spot looking for the person responsible and shut the car door, the glass panel fell and shattered in the front seat. It's kinda scary really.

After some difficult conversations (language problem), they said their boss is on his way here to discuss about it. OK, so we waited... until the two of them (the grass-cutters) started crossing the road out of our sight. I followed them as my mum had ordered.

They met up with another one of them. Alright, I must admit, I do feel a little suspicious about them. I had a little chat with them with Bahasa Pasar, coz the other one seemed more fluent in his Malay than the two of them add together. XD

After chatting for awhile (my mum is still waiting at the accident site), then only I am realised that their boss is coming here and not there - where my mum's waiting... I called my mum to drive the "diamond" encrusted windscreen car here.

Finally the BOSS arrived, we talked a little and he bring us to another repair shop specialised in "AUTO (car) glass". He thought of asking my mum to pay for the repair, which is of course denied. And finally he agreed to pay for it.

Alright, we got our windscreen repaired, and we loss the time to do IC. GREAT! =="

Anyway, I do pity the Indian Boss. It's not his fault that his worker break someone's windscreen, but he has to pay for them. So... *shrugs*

Just as I arrived home, I got a call from IDP confirming about my FULL OFFER into ANU! Woohooo~ Nice! But my name is spelled wrongly in the offer letter... =="

Darn, why does people love to change my name? Haiz, this had happened really often... =/

Woah...you're so magnanimous...
Hmmm...the boss should pay on behalf of his workers' negligence.

By the way, congratulation for your offer of admission into ANU (Australian National University!
:-)
